We've witnessed incredible breakthroughs through collective prayer. Last month, our prayer team celebrated answered prayers as 10 people gave their lives to Jesus.. When people we know have battled cancer, hundreds lifted their name in prayer, and today they are cancer-free. These aren't coincidences - they're the result of faithful people praying consistently.
Your individual prayers fuel our church's growth. During our 21-day prayer challenge, over 200 members committed to daily prayer. The result? We saw many lives changed and direction from the Lord given to our leadership. Each prayer created ripples of impact.
Prayer changes things because it changes us first. When you pray for our youth ministry, you become more invested in our teenagers' lives. When you intercede for our community outreach, you notice more opportunities to serve. Your prayers transform you into an active participant in God's work.

Ways to Get Involved
Every gift matters at Encounter Church. Whether you have 30 minutes or 3 hours to give, your contribution makes a real difference. Our Youth and Children's Ministry needs loving volunteers to shape young minds. The Welcome Team seeks friendly faces to greet newcomers. Tech-savvy individuals can join our Production Team to create immersive worship experiences.

Getting started is easy. Visit the Welcome Booth after the Sunday service to meet ministry leaders. They'll help you find the right fit and walk you through the onboarding process. New volunteers receive training, support, and the chance to try different roles.

Stories of Impact
Every Sunday, quiet transformations unfold within our walls. Madison saw a need in our welcome team and stepped up with her infectious smile to fill that need. Now she is over our greeter team.
John Anthony’s technical skills seemed ordinary to him, but his dedication to improving our announcements videos transformed the whole process. He is now the go to guy for video announcements.
Vanessa knew God wanted her to feed the people of the church and now many years later and many meals later our Kitchen ministry is one of the biggest ways we outreach to our schools and local community.
Our children's ministry volunteer, Blake, never imagined his silliness and love for fun would impact families beyond Wednesday Nights. Parents report their kids now act out Bible stories at home, and he is affectionately known as “Mr. Monkey Man” to all the kids in the church.
These stories remind us that no act of service is too small. Each person who serves creates waves of impact that reach far beyond their initial commitment.
