Meet Pastor Patrick Cooper
Pastors Patrick and Trista Cooper are passionate about helping people experience the life-changing power of Jesus. As the Lead Pastors of Encounter Church, they bring a heart for the local church, a love for people, and a vision to see families live out their God-given purpose.
With decades of ministry experience, Pastors Patrick and Trista have a unique gift for making the truths of God’s Word practical and powerful. Their leadership is marked by a deep reliance on the Holy Spirit, a commitment to raising up the next generation, and a drive to create a church where everyone—from every background—can encounter the presence of God.
More than anything, Pastors Patrick and Trista want people to know: Jesus sees you, loves you, and wants to do something extraordinary through your life.
When they are not preaching or leading, you’ll find them spending time as a family, encouraging leaders, or dreaming about what God wants to do next in McCalla and beyond.

Pastors Tim and Tina Reneau serve Encounter Church with hearts full of love for people and a passion to see lives transformed by the power of Jesus. As Associate Pastors, they provide leadership, encouragement, and spiritual guidance across the church, supporting ministries and equipping leaders to thrive.
Tim and Tina are known for their servant-hearted approach, genuine compassion, and commitment to helping people grow in their faith. Together, they embody the mission of Encounter Church—to help every person experience the love of God, discover their purpose, and live it out with joy.
